Simplicity Project: Dragonfly.

Drawing stuff in Illustrator is so fun and yet can also be pretty frustrating. I sometimes wonder if the programmers ever actually draw with it – I simply can’t believe it’s possible to find the method for moving anchor points the most sensible. I find myself moving the entire path when I only want to adjust a single point ridiculously often – despite knowing that you first have to select it, then move it. Just does not compute, even after countless hours in the program.

This may seem like a pretty complicated piece to include in the Simplicity Project, but remember that I’m striving for simplicity in means, not ends.
